We "played" this at book club. It was brilliant. It wasn't about knowing quiz answers but instead gave us so many ways to discuss and share our ideas and thoughts and emotions about books, the place and kinds of reading, the meaning and contribution books, all sorts of books, make throughout our lives. Even though we know each other quite well, we shared more about ourselves through the conversations over this game. I guess it's a game. We have decided to use one of the other variations on using it (there are a number of ways in the guidebook) next meeting as a warm up if you like. It is quite educational in its way too. But we laughed a lot too (we always do though) There are interesting endnotes that gave us some knowledge and insights. I have been reading through the cards at home as I think it will also provide some writing ideas. Highly recommended.
