Feel a Pair

From 32 different wooden pieces, you have to find 2 with an identical surface to create a match. If they feel the same you can look at them to see if you were correct. This game is a game of perception.

Try matching with your eyes closed, put them in a bag and try and find pairs, order them from smoothest to roughest, compare and contrast to other known objects or simply relax and enjoy the tactile nature of the resource.

Not Bad

We have tried this in two different ways at work.
Given residents a certain amount and then pull one out of the bag and see if they have the matching pair.
Residents did okay when there were just a couple in the bag and they had to try and find matching pairs.
