Residents really connect its awesome
My husband who has dementia in a nursing home, loves the cat it is so real like, it was a wonderful present
I bought this cat for my 95 year old mother with dementia. She is absolutely enchanted and happily interacts with it. Her 91 year old sister has also been so taken by it, that carers have noted how much calmer she is. Her daughter is now purchasing one for her. I wish I had purchased one earlier. Best gift ever.
That is so wonderful to hear! Thanks for sharing, we love hearing how much joy the pets bring!
My mother lives with worsening dementia in a care home and with several Covid outbreaks in a row, she was really suffering from being stuck in her room. We took the cat in to her, and she is happier and more settled than at any time she has been in the care home. Its only been a couple of weeks, and I do have concerns about cleaning the cat. But overall I'm delighted by this cat and the joy that it brings my mother. I've never bought her a better gift.
Hi Mark, thanks for the review and glad it's bringing your Mum happiness. This is a link to the manufacturers website where you will find some information about cleaning her pet: https://joyforall.com/a/faq
I bought Grey Joy for my 92 year old Mother who is in an Aged Care Facility.
She loves the little cat , she called her
" Dolly " and is enjoying her very very much . She misses her own cat so having Dolly is helping her not to feel as lonely . She said " Dolly is beautiful" and she loves her.
She is a talking point for the Carers and Mum . The carers are enjoying Dolly too
They pat her and get her to meow and purr. She is so CUTE .
MUM says to me on the phone " Dolly is looking at me , oh she's beautiful ".
I'm so pleased I got her for my Mum She has added something lovely to her life .
Thank you very much .
